The Big River Band
Marlow, Windsor, Camberley and Slough
The Big River Bandits, formerly The Big River Band, changed their name on 22 June 2007 after receiving the threat of legal action from another band claiming to have had the name for 24 years. They have a unique style and sound incorporating country rock, country swing, bluegrass, rockabilly and traditional country music written by Renee Sears and Gerry Power. They also play great covers by artists such as Bonnie Raitt and Alan Jackson. Suitable for line dancers and freestyle dancers. Surprisingly well met by people who say that they don't like country music! Originally formed in 2003 as a covers duo, trio and function band, their clients will not be disappointed to hear that the original line up can still be booked as Big River for all private & corporate functions playing 50's to present day covers in all styles of music. The Big River Bandits are to be nominated for The 2007 UK Country Radio Awards!.
