Sleeps in Oysters (London)

The music of Sleeps in Oysters speaks in an electronic vernacular, but dances like a pop star.

Holton's Opulent Oog (Reading)

Like something of a tuneful Dylan, Holton's sleepy eyed vocals act like a cosy duvet to wrap up in.

In the Macdevitt Studio:

Chops (Leeds)

Broken boogie from 3 cogs in the incestuous Leeds diy scene. Honkin' sax, cryptic vocals, big synths and even bigger beats. Bring your drunken party hat.

Katie Stelmanis (Toronto, Canada)

Small girl, big voice. An ex-classical music student moved through the Toronto punk scene and ends up with a wonky pop album. Crunchy beats. Soaring melodies.

Dolly Dolly (Reading)

Music words nostalgia.
