Festival tickets for locals

Festival Republic have struck a deal with Reading Borough Council that will increase the capacity and noise levels at Reading Festival and guarantee tickets for local residents. 3000 of these tickets will become available on Monday 3 August.

One ticket per resident is available and you must live in specified post codes. You must register your interest by the end of July.

The annual August bank holiday festival has, under the stewardship of Melvin Benn, also negotiated an increase in permitted noise levels.

How to register

To register send your name, address and how you will be travelling to the festival to reading@festivalrepublic.com before the end of July.

If you are eligible, you will be sent the link from Monday 3 August to buy one ticket for yourself.

You will need to bring to the festival a utility bill or alternative form of proof of address and proof of identification.

There will be no tickets will be for sale at the festival and there will be no onsite box office either.
