"What an absolutely marvellous band"
- Tom Robinson, BBC6 Music
a.genuine.freakshow are a pop-infused post-rock 7-piece whose songs draw influences from Elbow and Radiohead to Mogwai and Explosions In The Sky. They include lush orchestral arrangements and earnest falsetto vocals, giving the music they create an unpredictable edge, with epic climaxes reminiscent of Arcade Fire, Mew and Sigur Rós. They have toured extensively through the UK and, earlier this year, ventured into Europe.
Last year the band attract the attention of local and national radio, earning multiple airplays. BBC 6 Music DJ Tom Robinson invited the band to be guests on his Introducing show and they've also made an appearance on Steve Lamacq's show.

"Portishead doing a Tarantino soundtrack"
- Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1
Vienna Ditto recently received the highest ever score from BBC Berkshire's "The Demo Panel" and were selected to play on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastobury. They describe their sound as rockabilly/electronica with influences ranging from Screamin' J Hawkins through Plumb Djs to Micachu and the Shapes. It's hard to tell where they will take their sound next.
Our Last Infantry
