Dactyls (live)

West Reading Galaxy (dj), Anglo Franko (dj), Oscar the Grouch (dj).

The Bleep Test’s first outing of 2010 is bound to be a corker (aren’t they always?).  Remember Elle Milano? We do. We loved them lots, well Adam has been busy and is here with his new band The Premarital Sect. Mark E Smith of The Fall is their god, and as to be expected, they’re great. Do not miss their first gig in Reading.  Remember The Souls? We do. We loved them lots, they were luminaries of the Rakes & Bloc Party, but were always loads better... formed from their ashes are Dactyls.  Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger.  They’re brilliant.   Expect the usual great soundtrack to the night, that’ll keep you moving till hometime.

Black & White presents...

Tiffany Page (live)

+ Local Guests

New signing to Mercury Records, and with first single, Walk Away Slow, on its way, it’s Tiffany's voice that will strike you first. It’s a voice that knocks you back and then sits you to attention. It has the sassy swagger of Chrissie Hynde, Shirley Manson’s vampish purr and the hellion roar of Courtney Love. Wrapped around three perfectly formed minutes of sunburst guitars and choruses that cement to the inside of your skull only enhances the effect.
