It's fair to say that 2009 has been one hell of a year for the flame-haired Brixtonite, Elly Jackson and her musical partner Ben Langmaid, whose debut album was only kept off the #1 spot by the King of Pop back in June. It's notched up album sales of 300k and a Mercury nomination on top of over 1.4 million combined single sales in the UK alone.
Following on from their sold-out November 09 tour, La Roux have announced a follow up UK tour in spring 2010, beginning at The Hexagon in Reading on Monday 26 April.
Taking in massive venues up and down the country and culminating in a home-town show at Brixton Academy, Elly Jackson and her well-honed band will take to the stage with refreshed, new season vigour.
