Golden Hours Album Club - 5th April 2010

Bassist Luke has chosen a seminal album from his adolescence: British Sea Power's 2003 debut The Decline of British Sea Power.

We recommend giving each album 3 listens in order to begin to understand the piece of work on the whole. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and comments on the albums chosen either on the Josaka forum or the relevant week in our website's Golden Hours Album Club section. Things to consider commenting on could include the album's consistency, musical/lyrical content, the sound production, stand-out tracks etc.

Here is some information about the band behind Album Club...

Golden Hours are a band from Reading in Berkshire. They were formed from the ashes of The Wookies and performed their first gig in early 2010. The members of the band started having an album of the week amongst themselves and when Josaka heard about it we thought it would be fun to join in. That's how this column started.
