Reading based promoters Black & White present a one-off night of emo/metal/rock at Plug n Play.

DissolvedIn
Reading locals DissolvedIn formed in 2006 and so far have played all over the UK and over 500 live shows, which has also included shows with Fightstar, You Me at Six and Saosin.
Their DIY approach has never been more important in today's music industry and the band have produced their own music videos 'Egocentric', and 'First Impressions' which can be viewed on their official myspace.
At the start of the year, DissolvedIn finished recording their EP 'Proudly Dressed', which was released in the summer and is available for purchase at all their live shows. The band are currently touring throughout the UK, Germany and France to promote their EP, building up an ever-growing fan base and planning their first single release by the end of 2008.
Intraverse
Intraverse comprise four young, highly talented musicians who bring together a unique blend of raw rock driven by funk grooves and an abundance of passion, energy and charisma. The result is one of the most entertaining performances you're ever likely to see - with the catchy songs to boot.
The last year has seen impressive achievements, most notably featuring on champions of quality new music, Huw Stephens, and Steve Lamacq’s BBC Radio 1 shows. In fact the connection doesn't end there, as the band's last 3 track EP was also recorded at BBC Maida Vale Studios and produced by David Hentschel and Nick Moroch who have worked with Elton John, Missy Elliot and David Bowie.
During September the band will embark on a short tour of the South and they are currently working with Black & White Music with a view to signing a full management deal in the coming months.
Kokotcha
Kokotxa (pronounced co-kot-cha) are a four piece thrash-grunge-metal band think Metallica/Pantera riffage with Cobain-esq vocals and the lyrical content of Rage Against the Machine.
Forming in a garage in East London the band have built up many respectable gigs including playing out the back of a van for the protestors at the G8 Summit a few years back in Scotland.
With a new line up and fresh recordings, the band plan a massive musical revolution and are changing the way up and coming bands view the music scene with their guerilla gigging tactics and their 'free internet music for all!' approach.
Stone Baby
Stone Baby are blistering hard rock mixed with riff based blues providing a modern take on a retro sound. In 2006 lead guitarist and songwriter Andy pulled together a talented group of friends with the aim of forming an ugly, dirty hard rock band.
Now ready to take things to the next level, with their new 'Wrecked' EP recorded and being printed as we speak, Stone Baby are ready to drag rock music back into the present day and chuck it through your living room window.
