The Josaka record label releases just a few records each year, this way we get to spend a decent amount of time helping each release on its way to some reviews and airplay.
Some of our releases are directly with the artists and others in partnership with collectives such as Broken Tail Records.
Our physical distribution is via Code7/Plastic Head and our digital distribution via Kudos Records.

The Wookies - Sparks
Named after their favourite species from Star Wars, The Wookies have always had a penchant for the epic, the earth-shattering and the downright hairy. Their new EP Sparks was released on 7 September 2009.
Exclamation at Asterisk Hash
A one-off split EP from three songwriters with different slants on acoustic music, Exclamation at Asterisk Hash comes courtesy of some of the UK most promising solo talents. Released by Broken Tail/Josaka on 13 July 2009.
